Did you come here from the Chrome extension itself? This was not the homepage
of the extension, just the source code. The hosting website, Bitbucket,
shut down the hosting for Mercurial, the system that I was using to keep
the source code.
</p>

<p>
This extension has not been touched in many years now (since February 2013!),
and was using Translate's speech API in an unsupported way, anyway. I was 
merely learning how Chrome's extensions, Chrome's text-to-speech APIs and
Translate's private, internal APIs.
</p>

<p>
It was an experimental, toy approach, which is not useful anymore in 2020.
</p>

<p>
Please use built-in accessibility features of Chrome or your operating
system.
</p>
